Tech article
In a article from Discover Magazine titled, "The Graffiti Code Breaker", police in several different cities have started a program with new software that tracks graffiti and it's street language. Although in the early stages, in the future it appears this will help track gangs by the similarities of the writings and it's so called author. This should, in the future, help police cut down on gang violence. The software, called GARI, deciphers the scrawling and compares distinguishing features, including color and shape. It may take time, but this software could in time, go along way in controlling gang violence.
